Lent
Today, I was eating lunch in a little Mediterranean shop. As I bit into my delicious chicken kabob sandwich, I glanced over at a woman sitting with a group of business men. She nodded at me, and I noticed the crucifix, smudged across her forehead in ash.
Suddenly, I felt it -- smudged across my heart in dust.

I am not afriad to admit they are stupid and never get it.
Ha! I'll give it a shot.
So sorry to hear about the attack on the Taylors in Swaziland. Is Dave really OK? I'm praying for them.
Kerry, thanks so much for your concern! I'm planning on writing about Dave and Pat on this blog, but Dave has asked me to wait just a bit.
The short of it is that they are traumatized, but they thank God everyday that they're alive. They realize it could have been a lot worse; however, when night falls they still struggle not to panic.
They have been so blessed by the number of people who have reached out around the world to encourage and pray for them. They feel very loved.
