The Blue Butterfly
Yesterday I took my lunch in the sunshine. Left the office behind. As I sat in the concrete courtyard, I saw a small shadow beat next to my foot. When I looked up, I saw a large black and gold butterfly pulsing around my head. "How did you get here?" I thought watching the butterfly bounce along the air and then disappear suddenly, flitting out of sight the way butterflies do.
Then last night, I did a reading at a coffe shop called the Blue Butterfly,
with my friend Corey, who played his music.
Our friends came to hear us.
Satisfaction is like a butterfly. Temporary, delicate, bouncing on the currents of our life. When she visits, we would be wise to welcome her presence, let her pass through the minutes of our days, and then flit away. She will not be the last butterfly we ever see.

That's quotable. And I may quote you again...just not on your own blog! ;)
Tin Tin,
Did they ask you to read at the coffee house? If they did that's really cool, if they didn't that's even cooler, especially since you had people come to hear you read you should do that all over the city just tell your friends to show up somewhere and start reading.. Anyways, I'm sure it went well and you continue to rock on bye
Jess, That's right, because at the next reading you'll be performing!
ap, You can quote me on my own blog any day! What a compliment!
